Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde Spy Brushed Stainless Steel Adjustable Exhaust for Triumph Speed Twin (2021-2024) [EP-150499]

The Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde Spy Brushed Stainless Steel is an electronically adjustable slip-on exhaust made for the Triumph Speed Twin (2021-2024). With a push of the handlebar button a valve inside the muffler closes, opens halfway or fully opens, giving you three sound modes: Dr. Jekill, Dynamic and Mr. Hyde.

It is street legal with European type approval (ECE, EG-BE and TÜV approved), its Smartbox reads the bike's CANBUS signals to keep every mode within legal limits, and it carries a 4 year warranty. Finish: Brushed stainless steel.

Key Specifications

How do the three sound modes work on the Speed Twin?

Press the mode switch on the handlebar to choose. In Dr. Jekill mode the valve stays closed for a quiet, mellow tone; Dynamic mode opens it halfway for a dynamic mid-tone; Mr. Hyde mode opens it fully for a deep bass sound. You pick the mode per situation, on the fly.

Is the Spy exhaust street legal?

Yes. Every Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde system contains a Smartbox, an electronic control unit that reads CANBUS signals from the motorcycle's ECU. Its software intervenes subtly and almost imperceptibly when the legal parameters are reached, so you stay street legal in all riding modes. The system is ECE, EG-BE and TÜV approved, and you receive a type approval card matching the number on your exhaust.

What makes the valve system reliable?

When you press the mode switch, the Smartbox signals servomotors that position the patented valve. Dual-cable operation lets them switch between closed, 50% open and fully open, and the servomotors use heavy duty cables with a 100% waterproof seal. The Exhaust is the result of German engineering and Dutch craftsmanship.
