Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde Nomad S Hexagon Black / Carbon Gloss Adjustable Exhaust for BMW R 1300 R / RS (2025-2026)

Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde Nomad S Hexagon Black / Carbon Gloss Adjustable Exhaust for BMW R 1300 R / RS (2025-2026) (EP-153005)

The Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde Nomad S Hexagon Black / Carbon Gloss is an electronically adjustable slip-on exhaust made specifically for the BMW R 1300 R / RS (2025-2026). A valve inside the silencer lets you switch between three sound modes on the fly: quiet Dr. Jekill, the fuller Dynamic mode and the deep, open Mr. Hyde mode.

It is ECE, EG-BE and TUV approved for street use, controlled by a model specific Smartbox that reads the bike's CANBUS signals, and backed by a 4 year manufacturer warranty. This version comes with a black body with gloss carbon end caps and an aluminium core, black mounting brackets.

Key Specifications

How do the three sound modes work on the R 1300 R/RS?

A push of a button closes the valve, opens it halfway or opens it fully. Dr. Jekill mode is quiet and subtle for towns, early starts and long touring days. Dynamic mode gives a fuller, more pronounced note. Mr. Hyde opens the valve for the deep boxer rumble on open or rural roads.

Is the Nomad S street legal?

Yes, in Europe the system is ECE, EG-BE and TUV approved. Its Smartbox runs custom software for the R 1300 R/RS and reads CANBUS signals from the ECU, and the valve continuously adapts to riding behaviour so the sound stays within legal limits. Local rules in India can differ, so check what applies to you.

Does it cost performance in the quiet mode?

No. Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde states there is no loss of performance with the valve closed and a boost in power when it opens. Note that if the bike is tuned, the difference between open and closed valve gets bigger and tuning can affect legality.

How does it look on the R 1300 R and RS?

The Nomad S was designed to integrate with the sporty lines of the R 1300 R and RS. Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde describes it as lightweight and agile, and the gloss carbon end caps with aluminium core add a refined yet sporty touch to the roadster and the sport tourer.
