Are the ST-7 V2 pants fully waterproof?
Yes. The laminated 2L GORE-TEX shell is specified at above 28,000 mm waterproof performance and above 15,000 g/m2/24h breathability. Because the membrane is laminated to the outer fabric, the pants do not soak up water and dry quickly.
How do they handle heat and cold?
Long zippered openings on the thighs let cooling air in on hot days. For cold weather, the detachable thermal liner (150g upper leg, 100g lower leg) zips in seamlessly and can also be worn on its own.
What protection do they offer?
Nucleon Flex Pro knee protectors rated CE Level 2 are fitted as standard, and the pants carry AA Class CE certification. Three knee pocket positions, spaced 3 cm apart, let you set the protector height so it stays over the knee when seated.
Will they work with my adventure jacket?
A waist connection zipper links the pants to Alpinestars All Terra Adventure jackets, and the magnetic buckle waist closure keeps the fit secure. A 3-layer seat area and reinforced inner leg add durability for long days in the saddle.
