Caberg Tanami Carbon Helmet

The Caberg Tanami Carbon is a dual-sport (on and off-road) full-face helmet built from a carbon fiber shell. It is produced in two shell sizes to cover sizes XS through XXL, and can be used with or without the peak, functioning as a standard full-face helmet in either configuration.

Designed for riders who move between road and trail, the Tanami Carbon combines a Pinlock Max Vision 70 anti-fog lens, an integrated sun visor, and the Caberg SOS Medical ID emergency system. It is certified to ECE 22.06, including with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo communication system installed.

Key Specifications

Ventilation System

The Tanami Carbon uses a three-point ventilation layout. An adjustable chin vent with a removable magnetic cover controls incoming airflow. A large top vent with two adjustable openings draws in fresh air. Two rear extractors with removable covers discharge hot and stale air. The magnetic chin vent covers and rear extractor covers can be fully removed for maximum airflow during off-road use or in hot conditions.

Visor and Sun Visor

The outer visor is anti-scratch and transparent, held in place by a central locking system that prevents it from opening unexpectedly at speed. The visor can be set to a half-open position to reduce fogging. The integrated DVT sun visor is operated by a lever on the left side, usable with gloves on. The visor can also be fully removed to allow use with a motocross mask, either with the visor raised or detached.

Caberg SOS Medical ID

The Tanami Carbon includes the Caberg SOS Medical ID, an NFC-based electronic device built into the helmet. It stores personal data, medical records, and emergency contacts. In an emergency, responders can read this data using any NFC-enabled smartphone. The system can also send the rider's location to emergency contacts via SMS.

Communication System Compatibility

The helmet is pre-prepared for the Caberg Pro Speak Evo system (sold separately). When fitted, it allows music playback from a phone or MP3 player, rider-to-pillion or rider-to-rider communication up to 200 m, and GPS connectivity. ECE 22.06 certification is maintained with the Pro Speak Evo installed.
