The Caberg Tourmax X is a 100% Made in Italy flip-up motorcycle helmet, certified to ECE 22.06 P/J. It is the updated successor to the original Tourmax, redesigned with a new chin guard opening mechanism that meets the stricter requirements of the ECE 22.06 standard.

Suited to touring riders who need the flexibility of a modular helmet with the safety assurance of a full-face certification, the Tourmax X combines dual homologation, integrated sun visor technology, active ventilation, and Bluetooth communication readiness in a single-shell ABS construction.

ECE 22.06 P/J Dual Homologation

The Tourmax X carries both P (full-face) and J (open-face with chin guard raised) homologation under ECE 22.06. A dedicated P/J lever on the left side of the helmet locks the chin guard in the fully open position, preventing accidental closure while riding in J mode. The helmet also passed ECE 22.06 testing with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo communication system installed.

Chin Guard and Peak System

The updated chin guard opening mechanism is designed to clear ECE 22.06 P/J requirements. An integrated peak automatically moves flush with the visor when the chin guard is opened, reducing air resistance. The peak can be removed entirely using the included screws, converting the Tourmax X into a conventional flip-up helmet.

Double Visor Tech (DVT)
