2027 Ducati Panigale V2 SP: First Look at the New Sport Production Supersport

Alongside the Panigale V4 SP and Streetfighter V4 SP, Ducati revealed a new Sport Production version of the Panigale V2 at EICMA 2027. As with other Ducati SP models, the Panigale V2 SP brings a set of upgrades designed to narrow the gap between a road-going production bike and a full race machine.

The V2 SP is the model Ducati will submit for homologation in the Supersport World Championship. Until that process is complete, the only Ducati approved to race in the class is the last-generation Panigale V2 with the 955cc V-Twin.

Ducati developed the V2 SP using the Panigale V2 S as a starting point, refining it with data from its Lenovo V2 Future Champs academy. The focus was on agility, traction and control.

Key details

• Longer double-sided swingarm giving a 58.3 inch wheelbase, 0.6 inches longer than the V2 S, for improved steering stability and precision.
• STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, as used on other SP models and the Panigale V4 R, claimed to add up to 1.2 hp with Ducati Corse Performance Oil.
• Front fairing raised 1.6 inches versus the S model for better aerodynamic protection.
• Engine producing a claimed 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 69.0 lb-ft at 8,250 rpm.
• Fully adjustable Ohlins NIX30 43mm inverted fork and rear monoshock.
• Brembo M50 monoblock calipers carried over from the S model.
• Winter Test livery in matte black with white accents.
• Starting price of 21,795 USD, a 1,800 USD increase over the S model.
